Historical Note

Kohler Aviation Corporation was established in 1929 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It provided passenger and freight service between Grand Rapids and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In late 1929, Kohler became a contract air line for Northwest Airways, although it retained its own identity. The airline ceased operations in 1934 due to financial strife and its assets were sold to Pennsylvania Airlines.
