Historical Note

Founded in 1930, Bowen Air Lines was a passenger and express package airline based in Fort Worth, Texas. It serviced select destinations between Chicago, Illinois, and Brownsville, Texas. The airline ceased operations in 1936 when it failed to obtain a contract air mail route from the United States Post Office.
