Historical Note

Caribair was an airline based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It began operations in 1939 and operated from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. The airline ceased operations in 1973 when it was acquired by Eastern Air Lines.

Note that a different airline with the same name was based in the Dominican Republic. It operated from 1983 to circa 2009.
