Historical Note

CASA was a Spanish aircraft manufacturer that priamrily produced military transport aircraft. Established in 1923, it became a subsidiary of the EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company) under the name EADS CASA in 1999. In 2009, the company was absorbed into Airbus Military.
