Historical Note

Caribair was an airline based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It began operations in 1983 and offered scheduled service, air taxi, and charter flights. In 2009, the airline was given a suspension of operations, although that was later partially lifted. The official end date of the airline is unknown.

Note that a different airline with the same name was based in Puerto Rico. It operated from 1939-1973.
