Historical Note

Braniff Air Lines, Inc. was founded in 1926. In 1930 it became Braniff Airways, Inc. and in 1946 it changed again to Braniff International Airways. In May 1982, the company ceased air operations, although Braniff International continues in the hospitaliaty industry.

Abstract Lindell Ray Vinson (1938-2005) was a United States Naval aviator and a commercial airline pilot. Dianne (Shannon) Vinson (1940-2006) worked for Braniff Airways, likely as a flight attendant.
