Historical Note
Australia Airlines was an Australian domestic passenger service airline. Originally established as Trans Australia Airlines in 1946, the airline changed its name in 1986 to Australia Airlines. It offered flights under that identity until 1994 when it was bought by Qantas and ceased operations.
