Historical Note

Nagoya Airfield was used by United States military in 1940s and 1950s. It is an airport which lies within the local government areas of Toyoyama, Komaki, Kasugai and Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It was an international airport but is now a domestic secondary airport serving Nagoya.

Abstract Lloyd R. Lyckman (1914-1993) was a Staff Sergeant with Army Air Forces 158th and 72nd Liaison Squadrons during World War II and post-war in Japan. The collection contains photographs, assorted manuscripts, maps and printed ephemera related to his training and military service in Japan.
