Historical Note

Air Canada is the largest airline in Canada and operates as the flag carrier. Air Canada was founded in 1937 as Trans-Canada Air Lines. The airline changed its name to Air Canada in 1965. It provides scheduled domestic and international flights as well as chartered flights.
