Biographical Note

Jerome Clarke "J.C." Hunsaker (1886–1984) was born in Iowa. He entered the U.S. Naval Academy and graduated in 1908. Hunsaker obtained a master's degree from MIT and also taught there for a period of time. Hunsaker also served as chairman of National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) 1941-1956.

Major areas of interest include family photographs and extensive personal and business-related correspondence.
