Biographical Note
Georges Guynemer was born on December 24, 1894 in Paris, France. He joined the French Air Service in 1914 as a mechanic but gained acceptance into pilot training in 1915. Guynemer earned fighter ace status in February 1916, earning a total of 54 victories before he failed to return from a mission on September 11, 1917. Georges Guynemer was confirmed as missing in action on Septmber 25, 1917.

The Joe Aiken Films are comprised of six films shot, produced, or compiled by Joe Aiken of 20th Century Fox Studio, from approximately 1918-1947.
