Biographical Note
Robert "Bob" T. Lamson was born on October 30, 1914. Lamson was a test pilot for Boeing from circa 1943-1953. In 1965, he built the Lamson L-106 Alcor, the world's first high altitude pressurized sailplane, which is hosued at The Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington. Robert T. Lamson died on April 20, 2011.
