Historical Note
Airline. Pacific Air Transport (PAT) was formed in January 1926 by Vern C. Gorst, an Oregon bus line operator. It operated from 1926 to 1928. On December 17, 1928, PAT merged into Boeing Air Transport, but continued to operate as a separate division, retaining its own identity.

Abstract
George Becvar (1909-1990) was born in Denver, Colorado and with his brothers Lou (1908-1984) and Chuck (1904-1986) started Kent Flying Service which ran from approximately 1927-1930 in Kent, Washington. The collection consists of the pilot logbook for George Becvar and a scrapbook that primarily covers George Becvar's 1927-1931 flying career.

Abstract
Steve A. Stimpson was a manager for Boeing Air Transport in the 1920s-1930s. The collection contains one hundred and fifty-two (152) black-and-white photographs in an unbound photograph album documenting early United Airlines history.
