Historical Note

Eastern Air Lines was a major American airline from 1926 to 1991. It was headquartered at Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida. It was headed by World War I fighter Ace Eddie Rickenbacker, from 1938 to 1959.

Contents of the Collection This small collection is comprised of assorted ephemera related to various commercial airlines, including photographs, postcards, decals, bumper stickers, and maps. The bulk of the collection is more than fifty photographs, primarily of Frontier Airlines aircraft in service between 1950-1990.
