Historical Note

Eastern Air Lines was a major American airline from 1926 to 1991. It was headquartered at Miami International Airport in Miami, Florida. It was headed by World War I fighter Ace Eddie Rickenbacker, from 1938 to 1959.

Contents of the Collection The evé Martinez-Petrut Eastern Airlines Flight Attendant Collection is quite small. The collection contains a November 1958 Eastern Airlines (EA) flight attendant diploma for Martinez, including a black-and-white 8x10" group portrait of the graduating class and a program and menu for the graduation event.
