Pan American World Airways was established in 1927. More commonly known as Pan Am, the airline operated domestic and international flights. It ceased ooperations in late 1991 due to financial problems.

Contents of the Collection The Tai Sing Loo Pan Am Clipper Photographs includes six black-and-white photographs taken by Loo in April 1935 documenting the first Pan American Clipper flight to Hawaii. Contents of the Collection The collection consists of correspondence from Edmund Abbott to Aggie and John Diebold in 1984 that includes two black-and-white 7x9" photographs of Pan American's amphibious Clipper aircraft, taken in Florida, 1937.
