Pan American World Airways was established in 1927. More commonly known as Pan Am, the airline operated domestic and international flights. It ceased ooperations in late 1991 due to financial problems.

Contents of the Collection This small collection is comprised of three postcards for Pan American Airways and a photograph related to Pacific Alaska Airways. Contents of the Collection This small collection is comprised of a souvenir flight packet given to passengers on the Pan American Airways "Alaska Super-Six Clipper Service," circa 1953. Packet contents include a time selector for determining time in other time zones, breakfast menu, suggestion card, and a service brochure that highlights the new "pressurized comfort" of the DC-6.
